Aboretum Programs

About the Arboretum

The Ed Calland Arboretum area is located at Shelter #12 in Bradys Run Park.  It is named for a former county worker who established the various tree and plant life there.  Programs are administered through the Beaver County Conservation District.  A self-guided tour on a 3/4 mile trail gives visitors an opportunity to view and learn about trees and shrubs common to western Pennsylvania.

Guided tours for groups are available, and environmental education programs for the public are planned spring through fall.  Programs are free and donations are always appreciated to support environmental education.

All programs are held at Shelter #12 at 11:00 a.m. unless noted otherwise.

Programs are held rain or shine.
